AASR Endorsement of Professor Jacob Olupona

The African Association for the Study of Religions is delighted to endorse the nomination of Professor Jacob Olupona for Vice President of the American Academy of Religion. We encourage our members to vote for Professor Olupona in the current ballot that has been sent out by the AAR.

As a founding leader of the Association, Professor Olupona has worked diligently to promote the study of African and African Diaspora Religions at the AAR and throughout the world.
